Structural features of lamella thickener mechanism
A.Box-type Lamella Thickener (XBNZ)
The whole machine includes the upper box and the lower cone. There is inclined tilted-plate group in the upper box, which is composed of several mutually independent tilted-plated units. The materials to be handled enter from the two sides at the bottom of tilted-plated units. Above the tilted-plate group, there is an overflow tank going through the whole length, with orifices opened at the bottom of the tank, which creates hydraulic backpressure of discharge and overflow, ensures uniform load among all tilted-plated units and prevents radial turbulence.
The feeding method of sided half counter-current can make the sedimented solid particles and ascending clear liquid independent from each other and not interfering each other. After the thick mud gliding down the tilted plated enters into the lower cone, the mud will be condensed and dehydrated, and then discharged by gravity, or with the aid of mechanical vibration.
B.Round-pond Tilted-Plate Thickener (XBNY)
Several tilted-plate units are placed in the round pond equipped with central transmission mud-raking device, more suitable for facility upsizing and reduction of equipment height, and multiplying the handling capacity. The feed discharge is compulsorily conducted by raking mechanism.
