Impact crusher is a crushing machine which crushes materials with impact energy, and its primary structure composes of rack, rotor, board hammer, counterattack plate and side guard plate, etc.
When the impact crusher is working, driving by the motor, the rotor rotates at a high speed, and materials obtain huge kinetic energy in the impact process; when materials enter into the active region of board hammer, they collide with the board hammer and are crushed; then, they are thrown to the counterattack plate with a high speed and crushed again; finally, the materials return to the active region of board hammer after being rebounded by the counterattack plate for crushing again. The crushing process is repeated for several times, and materials enter into the I, II, III counterattack cavity and are crushed repeatedly until they are discharged from the discharge hole at the bottom of the crusher after being crushed to the required particle sizes.
